Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.
I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I’m being productive when I’m really just procrastinating. Here’s a big list of all of my favorite stuff.
I was using an Intel based MacbookPro from 2017 prior to this and the difference is night and day. Although I am a Linux enthusiast at heart I cannot live without the comfort of the battery life this laptop offers.
It is just simple 24” monitor that offers USB-C connectivity that reduces my cable mess at home.
I just love having small form factor keyboard for portability reasons and it sounds amazing for the “thock” lovers.
Although I almost always use the built-in trackpad for basics, I prefer this when it comes to casual usage.
After years of struggle I finally made the switch and now I cannot go back. It just feels fast and fun to edit text on this.
I use this because of the font support and colorscheme adjusts better for LunarVim.
I use this for Java projects and synching with other developers in my team. It offers great debugging capabilities.
I use this for any creative work. I prepare presentations, wireframes and mockups on this.
I used it for years and it feels faster than default Spotlight search.
It is a simple app for pomodoro technique. They let you do it with colleagues and friends and make it fun to work in bite size tasks together.
